The white sands of Lower Bay Beach disappear into the ocean under an onshore reef, which creates shallow pools and perfect conditions for swimming, and small children. Avid sailors consider Admiralty Bay to be one of the best natural harbors in the Caribbean due to its protective u-shape, which guards it from the tropical elements.

The seafaring heritage of Bequia means boat building, sailing and regattas are a huge pastime and usually the center of social events and fun activities. Friendship Bay, Hope Bay, Spring Bay and Industry Bay are all a short ride from town and offer more rustic coastline spots with great conditions for snorkeling, scuba diving and thrill seekers who love surfing and windsurfing. Bequia has an abundance of marine life, vibrant reefs and 35 interesting dive sites such as The Stratmann Tug, Devil’s Table, Moonhole Wreck and Pigeon Island.

Get to know the various species of turtles at the Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary and hike 900ft to the peak of Ma Peggy for an invigorating view of Admiralty Bay.
